THE CDC PRE-PROFESSIONAL ROGRAM
The 2011-2012 Pre-Professional Program is designed to give serious students a comprehensive education in Classical Ballet studies based on the Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced 1 Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) curriculum. Students will work toward entering exams. Enrollment however does not guarantee participation in the Exam. Final determination will be made by the CDC Artistic Director. Exam and miscellaneous fees will apply.
Pre-Professional Program students will have the opportunity and will perform in a Ballet piece in the Spring Production.
In addition to the regularly scheduled Pre-Professional Ballet Classes, the Performance Class is an optional class for students to explore classical and contemporary ballet repertoire. The Performance class will perform in the Spring Production and in socio-civic events around the Grand Strand area.
Participation in the Pre-Professional Program is by invitation / audition only.
