May 07, 2008 – Murrells Inlet, SC – Coastal Dance Centre and the Studio's performing arm, Coastal Youth Ballet
Theatre, will celebrate the season with a Spring Festival of Dances on Sunday, May 25 at the Myrtle Beach High
School Music and Arts Center. Featuring a mixed bill of ballet, jazz, contemporary and tap numbers, the 3 PM
performance will showcase the accomplishments of approximately sixty students of all ages and skill levels.
These talented young artists come from the entire Grand Strand - Georgetown and Horry counties and even
from as far as Tabor City, NC. $10 tickets can be purchased in advance at Coastal Dance Centre in Murrells Inlet
and will also be available to the public at the door on the day of the show.

"We are very proud of the tremendous strides our young artists have made this year," said Liza Mata, Artistic
Director of Coastal Dance Centre and Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre. "We were able to stage four performances
of the full length ballet The Nutcracker, one of which was a free show more than 1800 elementary school
children attended. We also feel honored that we have been recognized for the work that we do for the cultural
enhancement of the community." Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre was a recent winner of The Myrtle Beach Area
Chamber of Commerce's prestigious Impeccable Customer Service (ICE) Awards.

Coastal Dance Centre and the Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre– offer unequaled opportunities for the region's
aspiring dancers. Regular classes and a summer intensive in July will be offered. Registration is currently open
for the Summer Term which runs from June 16 to August 30. Courses are available in ballet, musical theater, tap
and jazz, as well as Kindermusik.
