Come Study at COASTAL DANCE CENTRE |
Studying at Coastal Dance Centre is more than just an activity. It is a dance experience unlike any other you will find in the Grand Strand area. Regardless of where you are in training, we will take you to new levels of excellence! Under the artistic leadership of Liza Mata, Coastal Dance Centre, the official school of Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre (CDC's performing company), has experienced tremendous artistic growth and success. The outstanding teaching staff uses the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus, an internationally recognized training method combined with open ballet technique classes. Other dance styles like jazz, and tap are also offered. Master classes with classical ballet, contemporary, modern dance and jazz guest teachers further broaden the dance horizons of CDC students. Our goal is to cultivate the education and appreciation of the classical dance both for the beginning to the pre-professional student. In a healthy and caring environment, students share the joy of learning the art of dance and grow in confidence, concentration, memorization, coordination, self-motivation and artistic appreciation of dance. By studying at Coastal Dance Centre, you will benefit from individualized attention and professional insight of our experienced faculty. Participation in the Summer term serves as an audition for parts in the Coastal Youth Ballet Theatre performances which includes "The Nutcracker" in December and the Spring Performance. |
